Lemongrass Insect Repellent Balm
Another golden oldie that has stood the test of time. The balm is infused with lemongrass essential oil which is a natural insect repellent (lemongrass comes from the same family as the citronella plant which is known for its bug repellent properties). We use lemongrass in Belize because it grows here and is a popular healing herb. Copal is used as an natural anti-inflammatory and neem oil is added for additive insect repellent action. The balm formula allows easy application onto the skin surface.
Directions: Lightly apply balm to exposed areas including behind ears, neck, wrist and ankle areas. The active ingredients are absorbed into the blood stream in about 15 minutes and re-released from the entire skin surface. Keeps biting insects away for about 2 hours. Re-apply as required.
Ingredients: Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Lemongrass Essential Oil, Neem Oil, Copal, Vitamin E.
