Chocolate Velvets

This rich and luxurious chocolate liqueur has been made for the most discerning palates who crave the finest in chocolate and the finest in liqueurs.

The rich and unctuous chocolate flavour is achieved by blending all the cacao butter found in the original chocolate rather than just using cacao solids. As a result, at cooler temperatures, (below 22oC/72oF), the liqueur will separate and solidify.

In order to enjoy this liqueur outside of the tropics, it is necessary to place the bottle in a warm water bath (40 to 45oC/113oF) for twenty to thirty minutes until the cacao butter has melted. Shaking the bottle well will then blend all the ingredients before consumption.

Serving suggestions:

  • Enjoy warm in a sherry glass
  • Mix into hot chocolate or coffee
  • Drizzle over dessert or ice-cream
