First Edition and New Products
Our First Edition and New Products page is the section of our website where we include any new products. Being a small farm-based business and general, all-around busy bees, we are constantly coming up with new ideas. We are constantly trying out something new and the only real way to test whether a new product is viable is to actually find out if people actually like it. This section is devoted to these new products.
As you can imagine coming up with a new product requires the allocation of plenty of resources, many of which could be used in existing successful products. For this reason, while the usual quality-controls, hygenic practices and proper manufacturing standards that we use for our existing products are maintained, we decided that in order to make things a little easier on ourselves, we would use hand-written labels on these new products so we wouldn't have to invest in the huge outlay that is required in designing and printing out the large quantity of labels before knowing whether a product is successful or a no-go flop.Once a First Edition products survives its introduction to the market and you decide that it is worthwhile, it then graduates
out of the First Editions section, earns
its own, dedicated, printed label and enters into the appropriate section of the shop as a fully fledged member of the shop community!
